Lucy over at Red Sky, located just outside the Seabrook Island gate, is jazzin' things up again. This time with the blues.

Wednesday, October 6, 2010 from 6-9 pm, patrons of Red Sky will delight in the Lowcountry blues of Shrimp City Slim.

Injured Loggerhead Turtle found on Seabrook Island

Quick thinking guests on Seabrook Island alerted the island's turtle patrol of a stranded loggerhead turtle.

Poor fella must have had an encounter with a shark. He (or she) was rushed to the SC Aquarium Sea Turtle Hospital.

Restaurants-The Buccaneer Restaurant-closes

The Buccaneer Restaurant in downtown Charleston closed its doors yesterday. It was a great place to take wannabe pirates.

The Buccaneer claimed to have one of the largest collections of pirate booty and other collectibles from the "Golden Age of Piracy" (1690-1730).

Music on the Green--Freshfields Village

Start your summer weekends off on a good note!

Friday nights, 6-9 pm, Freshfields Village (located near Seabrook Island) will play host to Music on the Green.

Starlight Cinema-Freshfields Village

Freshfields Village, located at the Crossroads of Kiawah and Seabrook Islands, is offering kids (young and old) a special night out  this summer.

Every Wednesday throughout the summer, Freshfields will show classic family movies beginning at 9 pm. 

Load up your family, refreshments, and picnic blankets and come watch movie stars under the stars.

Farmers and Art Market

Are you visiting Seabrook Island this summer? Looking for something a little different to do on a Monday afternoon?

Head over to Freshfields Village where every Monday, beginning June 7, 2010,  a farmers and art market will take place.

Local farmers and artists will showcase their goods for sale from 4-8 pm.  Live music will be provided for the enjoyment of shoppers.

Wednesdays are Wine Nights at Middleton Place

Every Wednesday night, now through November, come stroll the gardens of Middleton Place. 

Wine tastings will be held each Wednesday from 5:30-7:00 pm.  Enjoy great wine while viewing the oldest gardens in American.
