Restaurants-More Specials

WOW! I've found the most terrific list of restaurant deals, or should it be "restaurant steals"?

Stephanie Barna over at Charleston City Paper started this wonderful list: click here.

Restaurants-More Specials

Here are a few of the February restaurant deals I've found for Charleston:

  • Poogan's Porch, is rolling back the dinner menu prices to 1978! Enjoy dinner Sunday through Thursday nights for what it cost in 1978.
  • Tristan, is offering a three course prix fixe menu on Monday and Tuesday evenings for $40.00. Enjoy 1/2 off selected bottles of wine regularly priced at $75.00 and less. Only interested in a "sip and snack?" Tristan is celebrating Happy Hour Monday through Friday 5-7 p.m. with a new bar menu and special prices on beers and cocktails.
  • Enjoy 1/2 of bottled of wine ($50.00 and below) at Blossom, Sunday through Thursday evenings.
  • Circa 1886 is serving up two specials in February. Manager's Favorite Wine Finds will have you tasting wine for retail price (not restaurant price) plus a $10.00 corkage fee. Dinner of Desserts consists of three desserts for $25.00.

Parking in downtown Charleston

Parking a car in downtown Charleston just got a little easier. Instead of "feeding the meter" with coins, now you can use a plastic card.

SmartCards will make parking in Charleston more convenient. No more digging through your auto's console or the depths of your purse looking for spare change. Now you can swipe your card and go. Another great feature of the SmartCard, you can get money back for extra time you have left on the meter.
